The Art of Breathing & Unguided Meditation

November 30, 2016Mindset

Mindfullness and meditation is everywhere and it’s something I really try and do daily, normally by using my Calm app or doing some colouring. Something I’ve always wanted to try and do is unguided meditation however I’ve never been really sure where to start…until now.

The Art of Breathing by Danny Penman is a beautiful book with some really useful exercises for starting you on your way to unguided meditation and also teaches you how to breathe. Now, I know what you’re thinking, I already know how to breathe but seriously, this has some really good tips and reasons as to why you should think about your breathing and how it can help you in stressful situations.

The book also has some absolutely beautiful illustrations and word art!

The exercises in the book are really easy to follow and makes you really believe that you can do unguided meditation. It gives you really good foundations for mindfulness and is a must for anyone interested in mindfulness!

How do you like to relax and be mindful? Let me know in the comments below 🙂
