Nutribuddy Breakfast Shakes – the quick, easy and healthy breakfast

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. However, sometimes I really struggle to have the time or energy to make a filling and nutritious breakfast. This is why I’ve started using the Nutribuddy breakfast shakes; I’d gotten into the habit of skipping breakfast OR opting for more sugary foods (aka biscuits or cake) at 10am which wasn’t great.

For me, a quick and easy breakfast is EXACTLY what I need. If I’m having a flare day, the last thing I want to do is cook. As much as I love cooking, making breakfast is not at the top of my to do list!

What are Nutribuddy Breakfast Shakes

Nutribuddy are meal replacement shakes which are gluten-free, soy free, sugar-free and vegan. They’re full of gluten-free oats and, most importantly, NOT FILLED WITH LAXATIVES!!

One thing which I like about these is they’re not packed with sugar. Instead, they’re sweetened with the natural sweetener, stevia instead.

There’s a great variety of flavours too; vanilla, strawberry, chocolate and naked. You can also get some crunchy, with flaxseed and coconut flakes, or smooth with matcha tea.

It’s all natural and organic and environmentally friendly packaging – what’s not to love!

What was the breakfast shake like?

Spoiler alert – I really liked the shakes.

I was actually quite surprised at how much I liked them. I thought they’d taste like protein shakes but it’s more of a liquid porridge and I promise it’s nicer than it sounds!

I’ve been having the smooth strawberry breakfast shake with oat milk (for extra oat-i-ness) for two weeks.

Now, the big question – do the Nutribuddy breakfast shakes fill you up?

I have the shakes around 9am and I can get through okay to lunch if I’m eating at 12.30pm.

However, I have tried a more extra version with some fruit which definitely made it more filling. You could also use it in smoothie bowls and it would work REALLY well with it.

Overall, I really liked the Nutribuddy breakfast shakes and I’ll definitely be buying some more! You can order your first kit for 14-days (£14.99), 28-days (£24.86) or 56 days (£39.92). With your first jar, you can get a shaker bottle for £7.99 which are BPA free and SUPER handy.

Why I love the Nutibuddy breakfast shakes

I know that meal replacement shakes can be a bit controversial. However, after looking into Nutribuddy, the actual product is really good.

Like I said earlier in this, they aren’t full of laxatives and are meant to be used as part of a healthy, balanced diet.

Shakes like this are really good when you’re not feeling too great. They have nutrients in, are easily digestible and take minimal effort to make.

When I still had my colon and was incredibly ill, it was shakes like this which kept me going. As I couldn’t eat many foods and wasn’t taking any nutrients in, finding shakes which were packed with goodness were essential!

If you’re anything like me and love breakfast but, on a day to day basis don’t have the time or energy to make them, the Nutribuddy breakfast shakes are a perfect alternative!

Nutribuddy kindly gifted me a 14 day supply of the breakfast shake in return for this post. However, all views and opinions are my own
