January seems to have flown by in the blink of an eye whilst simultaneously been the longest month ever. And it’s not been an easy month for a lot of us either; January blues + a pandemic isn’t a great mix.
So I wanted to share a February feel good list. Some activities and ideas to help you prioritise your wellbeing during the month…
Embrace Self Love
February is the month of love and to quote Ru Paul, “If you don’t love yourself, how in the hell you gonna love somebody else?”. So find some ways to practice self love this month whether it’s a self care evening, creating routines to help you prioritise you or making yourself your favourite meal.
Celebrate Pancake day
Lets be honest, we need to find any way to celebrate and find small moments of happiness right now. So go all out this pancake day and make the most decedent pancakes that you can. This year I’m going to mix mine up, thanks to all of these amazing pancake recipes.
Find a way to move that makes you feel good
When it’s cold and wet out, it can feel really hard to find ways to move and exercise. It seems a lot easier to just curl up with a blanket, a cuppa and Netflix or a good book.
But finding a way to move is great for both your mind and your body. You don’t have to be doing HITT or 10k runs – a simple daily walk or gentle yoga stretch is just as beneficial.
Try a new recipe
It’s winter time and the perfect time to make some winter warmers. We’re all at home and you might be getting bored of the same meals on repeat, so use this month to mix it up. I’ve bene using a lot of Mary Berry recipes and her Paneer and Cauliflower curry is now a weekly staple!
